I recently had the pleasure of doing some mixing for a documentary that some friends of mine shot called, “What Are We Doing Here?” (link to trailer)
Three brothers and a cousin traveled from Cairo to Cape town, through 12 African countries exploring the role western aid to the continent. It took them 6 months & they shot over 300 hours of footage. The film is appearing at the Atlanta Film Festival, so go check it out if you’re in the area. It’s a fascinating and emotional look at highly controversial discussion.
