A few years ago, I produced an album called Apathia for the band Aunt Aunge. Additionally, Megan managed them during production and for a good while after the record was done. I recently worked with Man Made Music as an A&R consultant for History Channel and NBC Productions’ documentary titled “KING.” The 2 hour look at the life and legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. premiered Sunday, April 6th on The History Channel to commemorate the 40th anniversary of his death. I recently had the pleasure of doing some mixing for a documentary that some friends of mine shot called, “What Are We Doing Here?” (link to trailer)
Three brothers and a cousin traveled from Cairo to Cape town, through 12 African countries exploring the role western aid to the continent. It took them 6 months & they shot over 300 hours of footage. The film is appearing at the Atlanta Film Festival, so go check it out if you’re in the area. It’s a fascinating and emotional look at highly controversial discussion.
